Handmade Wooden Beech Butchers Block, Kitchen Trolley with Drawer and Rail *

This is a beautiful handmade beech butchers block, I am selling sadly due to moving house. It was specially commissioned April 2011 and made by a carpenter at exmoor furniture. It took some months to arrive and has been lightly used since then but does have signs of wear on the top and a few marks on the corners, which can be seen in the photographs. It is a stunning piece for any kitchen and made to a very high standard. All drawers are dovetailed and all fixing holes are plugged with pine cores. The furniture is hand waxed using the highest quality Bri-wax to achieve a good sheen. Bases of drawers and the backs of cabinets are fitted using tongue and groove. The sturdy top block is made with end grain beech and the base unit is made from sustainable pine. It has a drawer at the front - handy for knives, and a rail to one side. The shelf at the bottom is handy for displaying or storing items. It stands on stainless steel casters with non-mark rubber treads and can be locked in position by two of the casters.
