Industrial polished steal and wood bogie trolley. I have two matching Bogies ‘Bogie’ (Old railway word discribing - an assembly of four or six wheels forming a pivoted support at either end of a railway coach). This was from the same ship yard the the sack cart below came from, all these industrial trolleys were hand made at the turn of the century to fit the train tracks installed within the factory and were used to transport the sacks of materials to make the ship rope. This is so large heavy its hard to believe, it would be a real star peice in any house or flat. The thick sheet of steal that sits on to the wooden base has been sanded and polished to the clean steal, this have been done to the steel corners. The thick wood that has been placed on top was for grip when items where transported on the tracks. This has been sanded and polished with bees wax for a smooth shiny finish. The original green metailc paint on the metal chassis has been cleaned along with the large nylon wheels. This can be used for anything such as a TV sand, coffee table or to display clothes in a shop.
